MARIA LUISA OROZCO

Maria Luisa Orozco, 81, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Orozco was born in San Antonio, Texas and had been a longlife resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Catalina Orozco.
Son, Angel Efren Gomez.
Daughters, Blanquita and Elenita Gomez.
Brothers, Arturo Marmolejo, Sergio Marmolejo and Salvador Marmolejo.

She is survived by her children, Genoveva (Salvador) Marmolejos, Mary Lou Gomez, Dulce Arizola, Blanca Gomez, Jose Luis (Maria) Gomez, Jesse (Bertha) Gomez, Janie Gomez, Eddie Gomez and Elizabeth (Roger) Martinez.
26 grandchildren also great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Brother, Felipe Marmolejo.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Chapel service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
