MARIA ANTONIA PALACIOS Maria Antonia Palacios, 76, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at a local hospital. Mrs. Palacios was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, of 31 years of marriage, Pedro R. Palacios. Son, Pedro Palacios Jr. Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Desiderio and Julia Estrada. Sister, Maria Eugenia Rodriguez, Damiana Saldana and Juana Ortiz. Brother, Venancio Estrada and Juan Estrada. She is survived by her Children, Suzanna P. (Luis O. Sr.) Mata and Jose Omar (Blanca I. ) Palacios. Grandchildren, Priscilla I. (Noah) Palacios, Luis O. (Jenny) Mata Jr., Elizabeth S. (Roger) Rueweler, Nina N. (David) Soliz, Pedro Palacios III, Griselda (GiGi) Palacios, Jodie Palacios, Danny Palacios and Aalyah Rodriguez. Great-Grandchildren, Ruby Rodriguez, Luis Angel Rodriguez, Gisselle Navarro, Kaitlyn Mata and Isabella Mata. Brothers and Sisters, Lucia (Manuel+) Gomez, Julia (Mauro+) Villafranca, Irene (Harry) Denton, Jesus "Chuy" (Tere) Estrada, Esteban D. (Irma) Estrada and Rosa Maria (Augie) Mendoza. Brothers and Sisters in Laws, Arcadio (Alicia) Palacios, Guadalupe (Joe) Nolasco, Lois Palacios and Boni+ Palacios. Also surviving her are Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, numerous other relatives and many friends. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to the ICU at Laredo Medical Center. Dr. Zuniga Goldwater, Dr. Joseph Camero for their utmost care and to her Nurses, Vicenta Gutierrez and Maria, who never left her side. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, July 24, 2015, from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, located at 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. , where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 25, 2015, departing from the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
