MARIA IRMA PENA Maria Irma Pena, 75, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at local hospital. Mrs. Pena was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Apolonia Rangel, brother, Reynaldo Rangel and sister Viola Garcia. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years of marriage, Guillermo Pena Sr. Children: Guillermo (Gloria) Pena Jr., Eduardo (Rosalinda) Pena, Leticia (Alfredo) Gomez, Rosalinda (Jorge) Medina, Esmeralda (Jose) Alvarado, Norma (Luis) Villarreal and Graciela (Carlos) Perales. 26 Grandchildren and 30 Great- Grandchildren Sister: Margarita Rayos and by her brother, Jose Rangel Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez- Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m on Saturday, April 12, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
