MARIA D. PINEDA

December 02, 1935 ~ December 28, 2025

Maria D. Pineda, 90, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Mrs. Pineda was born in Lampazos, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Ramirez and Maria Anita Gutierrez.
Her beloved husband, Baltazar Pineda.
Daughter, Gloria Salinas.
Brother, Jose Ramirez.
Sister, Paula Sanchez.
She is survived by her children, Guadalupe (Gustavo) Zamarripa, Margarita (Raul) Carreon, Maria (Juan Manuel) Lara, Juan (Sofia) Pineda, Baltazar (Yolanda) Pineda Jr., Pedro (Jennifer) Pineda and Vicky (Hector) Rodulfo.
Son-in-Law, Rolando Salinas.
23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Brother, Edelmiro (Bertha) Ramirez, Ramiro Ramirez, Pedro (Victoria) Ramirez and Jessie (Mary) Ramirez.
Sister, Maria Ornelas.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be: Juan Pineda, Baltazar Pineda Jr., Pete Pineda, Gustavo Zamarripa, Kevin Carreón, Joshua Zamarripa, Milo Pineda and Nick Pineda.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 9:20 a.m.
Monday, January 5, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS: Juan Pineda, Baltazar Pineda Jr., Pete Pineda, Gustavo Zamarripa, Kevin Carreon, Joshua Zamarripa, Milo Pineda and Nick Pineda.
