MARIA R. MARTINEZ
Maria R. Martinez, 85, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, December 22, 2019.
Mrs. Martinez was born, January 9, 1934, in Bustamante, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Miguel S. Martinez.
Parents, Domingo and Martha Rodriguez.
Brothers, Lorenzo, Domingo, Pedro, Guadalupe and Victor Rodriguez.
Sister, Francisca Rincon.
She is survived by her children, Rosalinda (Raul) Alejandro, Albert Martinez, Patricia M. (Juan) Atilano, Maria I. Martinez, Estella (Jorge) Juarez and Diana A. (Geraldo Garza) Martinez.
Grandchildren, Victor S. Chavez Jr., Minerva Garcia, Veronica Garcia, Jessica (Miguel) Lopez, Jesus Garcia Jr., Jacqueline Alejandro, Amanda Juarez, Gaby Martinez, Christopher Martinez, Brenda Martinez, Rebecca M. Atilano, Emiliano Garza and Clarissa M. Garza.
Also surviving her are other beloved relatives, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
