Maria del Refugio G. Uvalle, 79, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021.

Mrs. Uvalle was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Maria Concepcion (Jose) Lara.

Brother, Leopoldo Gonzalez Jr.

She is survived by her four children, Victor (Sandra) Uvalle Jr., Alberto Uvalle, Veronica Renfrow, Raquel (John) Uvalle.

Grandchildren, Tabitha J. (Carlos) Velez, Danny Martinez Jr., Cristian Valle, Victor Uvalle III, Alexa D. Valle, Christopher Renfrow, Mia Renfrow and MikayLa J. Valle.

Great granddaughter, Heavenly A. Uvalle.

Siblings, Gilberto Gonzalez, "Pipe" Gonzalez, Gloria Gonzalez and "Fito" Gonzalez.

Also surviving are nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends, and especially her neighbors, who were always there to assist the family.

Following the State Law, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 11 a.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
