MARIA TEMPORA RIOS Maria Tempora Rios, 90, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. Rios was born in Robstown, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for sometime. She was preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Mariana Rios. She is survived by her son, Jose R. (Elisa) Pena. Grandchildren, Nora Elisa Salazar, Jose (Elizabeth) Pena Jr., Edna L. Carranco, Eilyana D. Pena and Erika Y. (Juan Villafrana) Pena. 8 great-grandchildren. 5 great-great grandchildren. Brother, Jose Guadalupe (Juanita) Rios. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:25 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
