MARIA V. SALAS

Maria V. Salas, 87, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023.

Mrs. Salas was born in Yurecuaro, Michoacan, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francisco Salas Jr.

Son, Jose Antonio Salas Venegas.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Ricardo) Casso, San Juanita (Seferino) Salas Calderon, Ricardo (Maria de los Angeles) Salas Venegas, Jaime Alberto (Maria del Carmen) Salas Venegas and Luis Antonio Salas Venegas.

Grandchildren, Ricky Casso, Monica Casso, Sandra Calderon, Nelly Cuello, Alex Calderon, Karla Cruz, Hugo Salas, Ricardo Salas, Javier Salas and Yoletzin Salas.

ALso surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7:15 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 202. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers were: Luis Salas, Ricardo Salas, Jaime Salas, Ricky Casso, Hugo Salas, Javi Salas, Ricardin Salas and Gael Cuello.
