Maria Teresa Hernandez, 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

Mrs. Hernandez was born in Laredo Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Guadalupe Hernandez.

Mother, Teresa Mora –Rodriguez.

Brother, Pedro Rodriguez, Jr.

Father, Pedro Rodriguez, Sr.

Siblings, Esmeralda Vasquez, Lydia Peterson, Elena Buckler, Maria Luisa Rodriguez, Rene Garcia, Joe Garcia and Imelda R. Blevins.

She is survived by her children, Eduvijes Hernandez, Gilberto (Melissa Ann Lozano) Hernandez and Juan (Jessica Kay) Hernandez.

Grandchildren, Amanda M. Hernandez, Lizabeth A. Medina, Alexandra M. Cavazos, Late Jonathan A. Gomez, Adriana Laura (Audrey) Hernandez, Gilberto Hernandez, Jr., Roberto Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Jr., and Alexandra K. Hernandez.

12 great grandchildren.

Siblings, Maria Santos (Roberto) Reyna "Laredo", Yolanda (Theo*) de Groot "Amsterdam", Irma (Don*) Miller "Whitewater, Wisconsin", Maria Guadalupe (Jaime*) Gonzalez "Austin".

Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The Hernandez Family would like to offer a special "Thank You" to the Laredo Medical Center ICU Doctors and Nurses, Providers Cecilia Garcia and Claudia Beltran, for taking part in the care of Mrs. Hernandez.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 6 , 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
