MARIA TERESA RIOS

Maria Teresa Rios, 83, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Rios was born in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Encarnacion and Virginia Hernandez.

Her beloved husband, David Rios Sr.

Brother, Ernesto Hernandez.

Sisters, Yolanda Reynoso, Maria Consepcion (Efain) Saucedo and Gloria (Jose) Ordonez.

She is survived by her children, Arturo (Evelina) Rios, David (Carmen Gloria) Rios, Daniel (Irma) Rios and Ruben Rios.

11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Sisters, Virginia (Alfonso) Montes and Guadalupe (Jose Luis) Martinez.

Sister-in-Law, Viola Hernandez.

Brother-in-Law, Reymundo Reynoso.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Following the State Law, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a  Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6 p.m. and religious service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A chapel service, officiated by Pastor David Rios Jr., will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
