Maria Vargas' Obituary
MARIA G. VARGAS
Maria G. Vargas, 77, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Vargas was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Porfirio and Hortencia Guevara.
Loving husband, Pablo Vargas.
Son, Pablo Vargas Jr.
Sisters, Juanita Guevara, Antonia Valadez, Lupe Penn and Gloria Ramos.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia (Steve) Mancha.
Grandchildren, Selina Mancha, Shelsi Mancha and Seliza Mancha.
Sister, Esperanza Lira.
Brothers, Jesus Guevara, Guadalupe (Julia) Guevara, Jose (Elena) Guevara and Porfirio (Maria) Guevara.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Committal services will be held at a later date.
