MARIANO AMADOR Mariano Amador, 79, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Amador was born in Matehuala S.L.P., Mexico and had been a life long resident in Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Alejandra Amador and Brother Geronimo Amador. He is survived by loving wife Angelica Amador and his children: Angelica (Juan Carlos) Garcia, Xochitl (Sergio) Resendez, Mariano (Karen Reyna) Amador, Itza (Arturo) Pulido, Cuauhtemoc (Dalia Gabriela) Amador, Beatriz Alejandra (Jesus) Bernal. Also surviving him are his 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. His Sister: Josefina Amador. And his nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Jude Catholic Church Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
