MARIN ALANIZ

Marin Alaniz, 74, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 in Texas City.

Mr. Alaniz was born in Santa Maria, Texas and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Erasmo and Cipriana Alaniz.

Brothers, Mario Alaniz and Mariano Alaniz.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 56 years of marriage, Juanita V. Alaniz.

Children, Marin Alaniz Jr., Erasmo (Melissa) Alaniz, Arnold (Yessenia) Alaniz, Michael (Cindy) Alaniz and Cynthia (Chris) Wallace.

19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Brother, Mauro (Carmen) Alaniz, Martin Alaniz and Erasmo Alaniz.

Sister, Maria Elena (Jose) Lopez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
