MARINA R. GARZA
Marina R. Garza, 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Garza, was born in Nueces County and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. Marina was a woman that many admired for her strong will and positive outlook at life. Never let anything get in her way. She gave many of us an inspiration for life. All her nephews and nieces knew her as their "Nana".
She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Juanita Moreno.
Brother, Mario Moreno.
She is survived by her siblings, Juan de Dios (Juanita) Moreno, Jose Francisco (Diana) Moreno, Armando (Susie) Moreno and Teresa (Greg) Moran.
Also surviving her are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:05 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
