MARIO H. MARTINEZ JR.

Mario H. Martinez Jr., 62, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Martinez was born in El Paso, Texas and had been a long-life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mario H. Martinez and Elena Martinez.
Siblings, Teresa Garcia and Raul Martinez.

He is survived by his wife, Maricela Martinez.
Daughter, Monica Martinez.
Grandchildren, Tabitha Martinez, Christopher Martinez, America Martinez, Victoria Martinez and Emanuel Martinez.
Siblings, Berta Escalante, Rosa Ayala, Antonio Diaz and Jesus Diaz.

Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A Liturgy of the Word, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, was held in the funeral home chapel before committal services and interment which followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Christopher Montemayor, Antonio Diaz Jr., Guillermo Navarro, Ernie Garcia, Gonzalo Badillo, Miguel Rios and Jesus Diaz.
