MARTINA G. CHAVARRIA
Martina G. Chavarria, 94, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Chavarria was born in Candela, Coahuila, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Chavarria was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend, she belong to the Maria Auxiliadora and Legion Mary for many years.
She was a hard working woman. Known to her family as one of the strongest woman who's loved deeply by her family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 50 years of marriage, Tomas Chavarria Gutierrez.
Parents, Miguel and Antonia Gonzalez.
Son, Agustin Chavarria.
She is survived by her children, Humberto Chavarria and family, Graciela (Jose) Rodriguez and family, Martha Mendiola (Alfonso+) and family, Gloria Iruegas and family, Guadalupe De La Cruz (Enrique) and family, Hector Chavarria and family, Juanita Garza (Joe) and family, Carlos Chavarria (Cindy) and family, Maria Irma Madrigal (Ramon) and family, Sylvia Ford and family, Roberto (Elizabeth) Chavarria and family and Pedro Chavarria and family.
All of her numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also surviving her are other many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
