Martina Martinez Salas, 93, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

Miss Martinez Salas was born in Villa De Arista, SLP, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Celso Martinez†, Maria De Jesus Martinez†, Pedro Martinez†, Bruna Martinez† and Celestino Martinez†.

Sisters, Dolores Espinoza†, Pedro Espinoza†, Basilia Ramirez†, Isidro Ramirez† and Ignacia Rodriguez Martinez†.

She is survived by her children, Juan Hector Alonso (Rosa E. Alonso), Marta Patricia Ramirez Estrada (Martin Estrada), Telesforo Serna Martinez and Galdino Serna Martinez.

Grandchildren, Juan Hector Alonso Jr. and Sara Maria Alonso.

Great grandchild, Hector Alonso.

Brother, Olegario Martinez.

Sisters in Law, Laura G. Martinez and Julia Martinez.

Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
