MARY DIAZ Mary G. Diaz, 94, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at a local retirement home. Mrs. Diaz was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She resided most of her life in Corpus Christi, Texas and they moved to Laredo in 2000. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt to her family. Her many friends could count on her ready smile and giving attitude. She will be missed by Gloria A. Herrera who loved her deeply. Special gratitude is extended to her caregiver Patricia Rosas Cobos. She is preceded in death by her husband Ruben Diaz. Son Robert Diaz. Parents Mauricio and Gabina Garcia. Sister Dora G. (Rafael I. +) Campos. Nephew Rolando "Roli" Garcia. She is survived by her brother Mauricio A. (Elva +) Garcia. Sister Mary G. (Reynaldo +) Lopez. NIece Estela (B.A) Puig III. Nephew Rafael I. (Delia) Campos Jr., Oscar A. (Rosie) Campos, Marco A. (Laura) Garcia, Roberto L. (Claudia) Garcia and Reynaldo Lopez Jr. Grand-daughter Stephanie Montelongo and Sophia Diaz. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Committal services and interment will take place on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Seaside Memorial in Corpus Christi, Texas.
