MATILDE LOZANO HERNANDEZ Matilde Lozano Hemandez 94, passed away to be with Our Lord on January 21, 2012,in Laredo, Texas. Matilde was born in La Hadenda de Guadalupe, Los Herreras, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on March 14, 1917 and lived in Laredo, Texas most of her life. Matilde is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Amador Hemandez-Lara, their eldest son, Amador Jr.,also her 5 sisters and brothers: Regina Esquivei, Benita Cantu, Teresa Duron Felipe and Victor Lozano. Matilde was a loving, giving and caring mother and grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandchildren. She dedicated herself to a life of raising up-standing children and imparting them with her Wisdom. She will be dearly missed, as she was a true angel of god. Matilde is survived by her daughters Juanita Alicia Hernandez, Matilde Irma Rodriguez (Rolando) Amira H. Saenz Amada Adriana (Barry) Benderman and sons, Alfredo Hernandez, Alejandro (Angie), Jesus Argelio (Lynn) and Jose Antonio (Lorna). Her 31 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Luis Benavides, Mary Garcia of Nurses on Wheels and her wonderful staff of Nurses and CNAs involved in the care of our beloved mother, Also, Champion Home Health Agency, APC Home Health Agency, and also special thanks to Marta Trevino and Ana Haberer, who were instrumental in Providing daily care of our mother. Hernandez Lopez Funeral Home, 800 Boston St, Laredo Texas, will coordinate funeral services. Beginning with visitation on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Prayer service will be officiated at 7:00 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will begin with a Religious Service held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 27, 2012. The funeral procession will immediately follow the service and will proceed directly to the Catholic Cemetery in Laredo, Texas.
