Date of Publication: Friday, July 26, 2013 Michael George Karabanoff Sr. Born: August 30, 1955 Died: July 18th, 2013 Michael George Karabanoff Sr. 57, passed away on July 18th 2013 peacefully in his home. Michael was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas all of his life. Mr. Karabanoff had been employed by the Texas-Mex Railroad and Laredo State Center. He is preceded in death by his Parents Nickolas and Anita Karabanoff and his Brother Nickolas Karabanoff III. He is survived by his sons: Michael George (Monica) Karabanoff Jr., Karl Anthony Karabanoff and Brandon Karabanoff. Brothers: Kenneth(Olga) Karabanoff, Paul Wayne (Marcy) Karabanoff, Thomas John (Nora) Karabanoff. Sisters: Doris Ann (Ben) Lohmer, Josephine Sandra Karabanoff, Lucy Agnes (Derly) Gutierrez and Kathleen Mae (Benigno) Rodriguez. Grandchildren: Nadia Karabanoff, Dacia Karabanoff and Karl Anthony Karabanoff Jr. Paternal Uncle George Karabanoff. Various Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Isaias Garza and his staff and a Big Special Thank You to his nephew and close friend Jerry Medellin for always being there for his Uncle Michael to lend a helping hand and to show his love and support always. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
