Miguel "Mike" Angel Montemayor born on Sept. 29, 1960 and was granted his angel wings on Sept. 30, 2021. We celebrate Miguel's start of his new journey as we honor the memories we created with him.

Miguel will be remembered by the hobbies and interests he took in fishing, hunting, and cooking. Miguel was the primary caregiver of his loving mother. Miguel Angel was a "take off his shirt for you" kind of guy and a loyal friend to all.  He led a simple, layback lifestyle that inspired us to take appreciation in the smaller aspects of life. A daydreamer with his head in the clouds and feet on the ground. He found peace in starry skies, deep seas, bird choruses, rainy nights, vibrant landscapes, and his many stacks of rock CD's. His bold and charming characteristics will remain vivid in all of the hearts of his friends and family.

His is survived by his son Miguel "Mikey" Angel Montemayor Jr., mother: Consuelo "Chelo" Montemayor, brothers: Hector (Yolanda), Oscar, Jose (Francisca); sisters: Hilda (Robert) Guerrero, Norma, Sara.  Nephews and nieces: Claudia Santana Montemayor, Erika Rubio-Scott, Armando and Carlos Montemayor, Lizzy and Rachel Montemayor, Robert "Tito" Guerrero, Rebecca "Becky" Cortinas, Roxanna "Nana" Guerrero, Jose and Hector Montemayor, Christian Garcia.  Aunts: Tia Tomasa, Tia Maria and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Hector I. Montemayor Sr, grandparents (paternal) Jose Inez (Angelita) Montemayor, (maternal) Juan (Nicolasa) Alvarez and several aunts and uncles.

Private services (as per his request) were held on Monday, October 4, 2021 followed by committal services and interment at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mikey Montemayor Jr., Hector Montemayor Jr., Jose "Pepe" Montemayor, Christian "Shorty" Garcia, Arnulfo "Fito" Marquez Jr., Armando Gonzalez, Rene Rodriguez II and Louis Montemayor.

Honorary Pallbearers were Oscar Montemayor, Robert "Tito" Guerrero, Robert J. Guerrero, Herman Cortinas, Javier "JB" Garcia, Jimmy Vela, Joey Martinez, Sammy Mendez, Albert Lopez, Arturo Reyes.
