MINERVA L. LOPEZ

Minerva L. Lopez, 95, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021, at a local hospital.

Mrs. Lopez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, of over 50 years of marriage, Fernando Martinez Lopez.

Siblings, Raul Linares, Juan Linares, Victor Linares and Norma Decker.

Great granddaughter, Madeline Frady.

Parents, Florentino and Onulieta G. Linares.

She is survived by her children, Fernando Lopez Jr. (Patricia), Graciela Maria Gutierrez (Rosendo), Minerva Julia Covio (Carlos), Jose Gerardo Lopez (Rosario), Ricardo Lopez (Alma), Efrain Lopez (Myrna), Thelma Lopez Agredano (Carlos).

Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Nieces and nephews.

Brother, Humberto Linares.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Following the ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Hernandez Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
