Minerva "Minnie" Simpson

Our mother Minnie, aged 78, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2019.

Mom lived most all of her life in Laredo. She attended Martin High School.   She was a loving wife and mother and worked as a medical office manager.

She was preceded in death by her son William "Billy" Simpson II, husband William Simpson I, parents Maria De Jesus Herrera and Bernabe Morales and sister Elizabeth Morales Sosa. She is survived by her children Janith K Mills and Jerry E Mills Jr (Elizabeth); grandchildren Elisa (Lisa) Mills, Jerry Mills III, James Mills, Janith E Mills , Nathan, Mario A and Darcy Arredondo and her brother Bernabe E Morales Jr (Susie).   She had 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews including: Bernabe III, Jesus and Esmeralda Morales and Priscilla, Francisco, Patricia, Dolores, Elizabeth, Melinda, Juanita and Juan Sosa.

May she be greeted with love and open arms in heaven by her family members who have passed. May Jesus wrap His compassionate and loving arms around her to give her peace.

Until we meet again Mom, save us a place at the table and watch over us.

A Memorial Mass will be held on August 31, 2019, at 3 pm at St Patrick Catholic Church, 555 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo TX 78041.
