Obituary

NICANOR MUNIZ
Nicanor Muñiz,77, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at a local hospital.
Mr. Muñiz was born in Anahuac N.L. Mexico and had been a longlife resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Guadalupe Muñiz.
He is survived by his children, Alberto Cruz (Rosaisela Garza), Hector Muñiz  (Griselda Renteria), Cynthia Muñiz (Mauricio Piñones), Guadalupe Muñiz (David Sada), Noe Muñiz (Gloria Muñiz), Julia Muñiz (Vannessa Muñiz), Irene Muñiz (Leandro Piñones), Gabriel Muñiz (Cecilia Amaya) and Jocelyn Muñiz (Israel Diaz).
Grandchildren, Alberto, Josue. Carlos, Gisela, Alexia, Arisbeth, Vannessa, Mauricio, Diego, Yulissa (Omar), Alexis (Samantha) Hector, Ashley (Kevin), Samantha, Noe Jr., Robert, Julian, Jaden, Jason, Justin, Jacob, Leandro, Bryan, Mia, Abigail, Alexia, Andre and Ethan.
Numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Siblings, Ramon Muñiz, Aniceto Muñiz, Gregorio Muñiz, Mirtha Muñiz, Geronimo Muñiz, Jose Muñiz, Elodia Muñiz, Juani Muñiz, Romelia Muñiz, Laco Muñiz and Prisciliano Muñiz.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friend.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
