NICOLAS C. GUTIERREZ Nicolas Gutierrez, 74, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at a local hospital. Mr. Gutierrez was born in Monterrey, N.L. Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Consuelo Gutierrez. Brothers, Juan De Dios Gutierrez and Elias Gutierrez. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years of marriage Maria De Roble Cepeda De Gutierrez. Children, Adriana (Vicente Garza) Gutierrez de Garza, Virginia (Ricardo Trevino) Gutierrez de Trevino and Nicolas (Diana Mendez de Gutierrez) Gutierrez. Grandchildren, Maria Fernanda, Vicente Jr., Eduardo and Valeria Garza, Camila Trevino, Arath Gutierrez and Itati Gutierrez. Brothers, Jorge Gutierrez, Javier Gutierrez and Guillermo Cantu. sisters, Micaela Gutierrez and Teresa De Jesus Gutierrez. Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin Tuesday morning, February 17, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at St. John Newmann Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
