NICOLAS D. MARTINEZ JR.
Nicolas D. Martinez Jr., 70, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mr. Martinez was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Luisa Martinez Sr.
He is survived by his sisters, Anna Maria Martinez and Maria Luisa Martinez.
Nephews and nieces, Jose Gabriel Martinez III,
Melissa Yvette Martinez, Edgar Martinez, Miguel Martinez and Jose Reynaldo Martinez Jr.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
