NICOLAS G. SOTO Nicolas G. Soto, 68, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at a local retirement home. Mr. Soto was in Mexico and resided in Webb County area for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eleuterio and Modesta Soto. Brothers, Jesus Soto and Oscar Soto. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years of marriage, Carmen Soto. Children, Nicolas (Cynthia) Soto, Mario (Melissa) Soto, Cynthia Vela, Cesar (Patricia) Soto and Adrianna (Richard) De La Garza. 15 grandchildren. 1 sister, Manuela Solano. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
