NINFA DE LA CRUZ Ninfa De La Cruz, 77, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at a local retirement home. Mrs. De La Cruz was born in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her sons, Cristino de la Cruz and Ricardo de la Cruz. Sister, Genoveva Pineda. Brother, Reymundo Gallegos. Parents, Cruz and Josefina Gallegos. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years of marriage Gregorio De La Cruz. Sons and daughters, Berta (Noe, dec'd) Alcazar, Gregorio (Bertha) de La Cruz, Gustavo (Patricia) de La Cruz, Arturo (Yolanda) de La Cruz, Sara de La Cruz, Irma (Manuel) Garcia, Diana (Luis) Padilla, Sylvia (David) Moreno, Dalia de La Cruz and Jose Luis de La Cruz. 38 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren. Brothers, Raul Gallegos and Fidencio Gallegos. Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. The family would like to give their utmost gratitude to Laredo Nursing and Rehabilitation personnel and Altus Hospice Personnel. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Religious Service will be officiated at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 with a chapel service held at 11:00 a.m. Committal services and interment will immediately follow the service at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
