NINFA RAMOS
Ninfa Ramos, 86, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025.
With great love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Ninfa Ramos, affectionately known as Ama by her family, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Ninfa was born on January 31, 1939, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, and peacefully left this world on August 29, 2025, at the age of 86, surrounded by her beloved family. Those who had the privilege of knowing Ninfa will always remember her as a woman of profound faith. She was a devoted Catholic whose trust in God was unwavering, a faith many of us aspire to hold. Ninfa's heart was her family—she found her greatest joy in cooking for them. Her homemade tortillas and menudo will forever be treasured memories, reminders of the warmth and love she poured into every meal. Her kitchen was more than a place to prepare food; it was the heart of family gatherings, where laughter, prayers, and love were always shared.
Ninfa's greatest blessing in life was her family. She was a proud and loving mother of 9, grandmother to 24, great-grandmother to 77 and great-great-grandmother to 21. To her, family was everything, and her legacy will live on in each of them.
Though she is no longer with us in person, her spirit remains. Ninfa's lessons to love without limits, to place our trust in God, and to pray through all seasons of life will live on in those who knew her.
Ninfa is preceded in death by the love of her life, Felix Ramos; her parents, Salvador and Vicenta García; her son, Pablo Ramos; her grandson, Randy Ramos; her great-grandson, Justin Sandoval; and her siblings Julia Gonzalez, Margarita Castillo, Juanita Rodriguez, Gloria Arechiga, Sylvia García, Isaac Garcia, Salvador Garcia Jr., Vicente Garcia, and Alfredo García.
She leaves behind a large and loving family to cherish her memory, including her brothers Roberto García,Ignacio Garcia and Jesus García, and her children Pablo+ (Hilda), Felix Jr. (Angelina), Roberto Ramos, Luis Manuel (Odette), Rosa Ramos, Ricardo Ramos, Martín (Cecilia), Leticia (Miguel), Norma Ramos, and Sergio (Esmeralda).
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who lovingly tended to Ninfa in her final days.
