NOEMI C. ORTEGA Noemi C. Ortega, 90, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 at a local hospital. Mrs. Ortega was born in Grandview, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Ortega Jimenez. Son, Antonio Ortega Jr. Daughter, Esther R. Gallegos. She is survived by her children, Jose (Alicia) Ortega, Raul (Laura) Ortega, Ruben (Josefina) Ortega, Ricardo (Irma) Ortega and Dora Alicia (Alfredo) Gallegos. Grandchildren, Eulalia Vega, Jose Luis Gallegos, Alejandra Gallegos, David Joel Gallegos, Lorenzo Anel Luna Ortega, Raul Antonio Ortega, Lizzette Ortega, Ruben Ortega Jr., Israel Ortega and Claudia Rodriguez, Jose Ortega Jr., Joel Ortega, Araceli Ortega and Joy Gallegos. Also numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Sisters, Olivia, Febe, Priscilla and Francisca. Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin Wednesday morning, November 21, 2012 with a chapel service begining at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will immediately follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
