NORMA PAEZ
Norma Paez was born in Laredo, Texas, on November 29, 1960. Norma entered God's kingdom on June 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family by her side at the age of 64. Ms. Paez worked 27 years with the Laredo Independent School District. She brought laughter and joy to all who knew her, especially at family events. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be greatly missed and will forever live in our hearts.
Norma is preceded in death by her father, Juan Paez. Grandparents: Santiago and Felcitas Paez, Eduardo and Hilaria Jalomo. As well as Uncles and Aunts.
Left to celebrate her life and memories is her loving mother, Santa J. Paez, Brother Juan (Guadalupe), Sister San Juanita (Andy), Brother, Alberto (Cristina), Sister Maricela (Jaime), and Sister Alicia.
Nephews and Nieces: Juan Manuel, Alberto Jr., Daniel, Johnny, Marco Antonio, Mari Lee, Jaime, Saul, Linda, Kassandra.
Caregiver/friend: Tomasita "Panchita"
Also surviving her legacy are numerous relatives and many friends.
To all who knew Norma, she was a woman whose life was filled with cherished moments and love. Whether shopping with her beloved family, enjoying lively games of lotería, listening to the soulful melodies of Tejano music, or participating in countless family gatherings, Norma's warmth and spirit brought joy to those around her. Her presence was a guiding light, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all she touched.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to all friends and families who have reached out in this unforeseen time of need. Norma will be missed deeply, and her memory will continue on in those who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 26, 2025, departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Holy mass
will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
