OLIVIA (JOLI) VALDEZ VILLANUEVA
Olivia (Joli) Villanueva, a woman of great faith and devotion, entered our Lords Heavenly Kingdom on Friday 19, 2021 at the age of 86.
Olivia was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born on April 26, 1934, to Enrique and Angelina (Vela) Valdez. Olivia attended Martin High School and worked for S.H. Kress and Co., until she married the love of her life and sweetheart, Enrique Villanueva. Her life was blessed with 65 years of marriage, 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great- grandchildren.
Olivia is preceded in death by her parents, Enrique and Angelina Valdez, her brothers: Valentin (Josefina) Valdez, Enrique (Minerva) Valdez, Eliseo (Lucy) Valdez, Jose Alberto Valdez, Jose Heriberto (Hilda) Valdez.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Enrique Villanueva, who honored her and loved her beyond words.
Her children, Enrique (Grace) Villanueva, Jr., Velma (Roberto) Cruz Jr., Abraham (+Irasema Vela) Villanueva.
Her grandchildren: Cindy (Rafa) Lopez, Jr., Liza Villanueva, Grace (Vito) Garcia, Roberto (Jennifer) Cruz, III, Xavier-Enrique Cruz, Abraham (Kate) Villanueva Jr., Rene (Rachel) Villanueva, Jaime (Molly) Villanueva.
Great- grandchildren: Kailey, Alexa, and Emma Lopez, Vito Jr. and Ava Garcia, Kianna, Analise, and Khalisee Cruz, Bear Villanueva, Ulysses, and Genevieve Villanueva.
Sister, Octavia (+Alejandro) Martinez.
Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and numerous loving relatives and friends.
Following the State Law, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston Street at San Bernardo Avenue. Departing at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate a Holy Mass at San Martin de Porras Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

from hugging and shaking hands. We want to ensure everyone's safety while we celebrate Olivia's life.
