OMELIA M. GUERRA
Omelia M. Guerra, 90, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021.
Mrs. Guerra was born in Baytown, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, of over 60 years of marriage, Rogelio Guerra.
Parents, Victoriano and Eldemira Gonzalez de Montemayor.
Brothers, Homero Montemayor Gonzalez, Oscar Montemayor Gonzalez and Victor Montemayor.
She is survived by her children, Omelia (Eloy) Marin, Mara (Roberto) Resendez, Diana (A.D.) Duong, Rogelio (Diana) Guerra, Judith (Octavio) Carreon, and Geraldine (Ted) Sandoval.
18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends. She was loved by both Laredos.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a religious service, officiated by Pastor Rogelio Guerra, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A religious service, also officiated by Pastor Guerra, will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
