ONESIMO HERRERA JR.
Onesimo Herrera Jr, 76, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022.
Mr. Herrera was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Onesimo and Victoria E. Herrera.
Brother, Javier Herrera.
Sister, Irma H. Orta.
Niece, Angelica Maria H. Arzola.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 54 years of marriage, Otila P. Herrera.
Children, Eduardo (Martha) Herrera, Gabriel Ricardo (Lupita) Herrera.
Grandchildren, Misty Herrera, Gabriel Onesimo Herrera, Richard Wallace Herrera, Jesse James Herrera, George Edward Herrera, Victoria Adelaida Herrera, Lydia Guardiola, Kassandra Guardiola, Luis Enrique Garza, Diego Roque and Gabriela Garcia.
Great grandchildren, Dyland, Karis, Aria, Silas Jude, Kaleb, Jacob, Khloe, Kyandra, Avery and Matthew.
Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 27, 2022 departing from the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave
. Holy Mass was celebrated at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Gabriel R. Herrera, Eduardo Herrera, Gustavo Orta, Gabriel O. Herrera, Richard W. Herrera, Luis E. Garza, Jesse J. Herrera and George E. Herrera.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Misty Herrera, Victoria A. Herrera, Dyland Herrera Garcia and Silas Jude Herrera.
