OSCAR AGUILAR

Oscar Aguilar, 56, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

Mr. Aguilar was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ruben Aguilar and Leonor Jimenez Aguilar.

Siblings, Luis Aguilar, Vicente Aguilar, Maria De Jesus Aguilar and Antonietta Vazquez.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 36 years of marriage, Sylvia S. Aguilar.

Children, Oscar (Alexandra) Aguilar, Marisa (Francisco) Tellez and Melissa (Sergio) Davila.

Grandchildren, Francisco Tellez III, Andrea Aguilar, Dominic Davila, Fernando Aguilar, Anthony Aguilar, Mia Tellez, Jordan Aguilar, Hailey Aguilar and Destiny Ordaz.

Siblings, Guadalupe (Alberto Soliz) Aguilar, Petra (Juan) Ochoa, Ruben (Diana) Aguilar, Antonio (Laura) Aguilar, Isabel (Joe) Adames, MAria del Refugio (Miguel) Casarez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of Flowers the Family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A chapel service will be held at 9 a.m. and a Liturgy of the Word will be officiated at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Committal services will be held on a later date.
