OSCAR M. BENAVIDES

Oscar M. Benavides, 58, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.

Mr. Benavides was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and was a longlife resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Benavides Sifuentes.

Sister, Flor Benavides.

He is survived by is children, Barbara Irene (Ricardo Jaime), Oscar Martin Benavides Jr. and Fabian Enrique Benavides.

Mother, Manuela Benavides.

Siblings, Maria De La Lus Hernandez, Enriqueta (Rommel) Granados, Ana Maria Benavides and Manuel (Luz Maria) Benavides.

Uncles and Aunts, Raul Ventura, Elena Ventura and Silvestre Benavides.

Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 4 pm to 9 pm and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 pm in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy . Funeral services will begin departing at 9:30 am on Friday, March 15, 2024. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 am at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
