OSTOLIA S. DAVILA

Ostolia S. Davila, 86, passed away on February 21, 2025 in McComb, Mississippi surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Davila was born in Laredo, Texas on October 23, 1938 and had been residing in Uvalde, Texas for most of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years of marriage Rogelio B. Davila who passed away in 2007 and by her step-son Rogelio Davila Jr. who passed away in 2011.

She is survived by her Daughters, Reyna Brown, Dina (Dale) Rusk, Susan (Ronnie) Tamez, and Michelle (Julio) Garcia.

Her brother, Pablo Sotelo Jr.

Her sister, Olga Vallin (11) grandchildren and (20) great-grandchildren.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. A religious service was held in the funeral home chapel with committal Service and interment ,which followed in the Laredo City Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Julio Garcia, Luis Elizalde, Dale Rusk, Rojelio Garcia, Jonathan Brown, Ashley Williams and Pablo Sotelo Jr.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Noah V., Luke Elizalde and Shawn Brown.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
