OTILA ELIZONDO BARRIENTOS

Otila Elizondo Barrientos,  passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Barrientos  was born in Zapata, Texas and had been a life long resident of Laredo.

Taking into consideration the safety and well being of everyone due to the present COVID-19 concerns. The services for Mrs. Barrientos will be attended by close family members only. A heartfelt appreciation is extended to all those who have expressed their condolences and will be remembering the family in their prayers.

She is preceded in death by her father, Federico Elizondo.

By her mother, Aurora Elizondo.

Brothers, Anibal Elizondo and Leonel Elizondo.

Her first husband, Amador J. Ramirez.

Her second husband, Joseph Barrientos.

She is survived  by her brother, Federico (Graciela) Elizondo.

Her nieces and nephews, Alma Leticia (Luis) Zapata, Sandra (Hector) Saenz, Leonel (Leticia) Elizondo, Claudette Elizondo, Mayra Basinger and Luis A. Elizondo.

She is also survived by her grand-nephews and grandnieces; Sergio Leonel Saenz, Sessie (Danny) Villarreal, Louie Zapata Jr., Hector (Denise) Saenz, Leonel (Samantha) Elizondo and Hannibal Elizondo.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Oscar Gutierrez, Dr. Armando Hinojosa and the Staff of La Esperanza Home Health Care for their dedicated loving care they provided to Mrs. Barrientos.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. A Vigil of the Deceased will be officiated  at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 12:00 p.m. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
