PABLO HERNANDEZ "Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, The Chain will link again." Pablo Hernandez, 62, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Hernandez was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Felix Flores and Angela Hernandez, by his son Israel Hernandez and by his sister Juanita Navarro. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years of marriage Maria Luisa R. Hernandez. His children; Maria De Lourdes Hernandez, Maria Cecilia Hernandez, Pablo Hernandez Jr., Lorenzo Hernandez, David Hernandez, Laura Hernandez, Isabel Hernandez, and Gerardo Samuel Hernandez. His grandchildren: Xylia, Jesus Jr., Iliana Hope Arredondo, Carlos Jr., Gabriela Gaona, Pablo III, Israel Hernandez, Alejandra Garcia, Leena Hernandez and Angel Mateo Alvarez. Great-grandchildren: Rigoberto Garcia Jr., Jason Gaona and Alejandro Mora Jr. Brothers, Juan Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez and Adan Rodriguez. Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt graditute to Jose from Altus Hospice, Mary Delgado and Elsa Sandoval for all the care they gave to their father. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m.in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2012 from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
