PAUL YANES Paul Yanes, 83, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at a local hospital. Mr. Yanes was born in Jalpan Queretaro, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He was a veteran with the United States Army in which he served from 1956 up until his Honorable discharge in 1958. He served with the Airborne Battle Group 187th Infantry Company 2D. He was decorated with the Parachutist Badge and the Good Conduct Medal. While in the Army not only did he serve as a paratrooper but he also partook of assisting as a Medical Specialist. After his tour of duty, he went on to attend college and became a computer programmer for the University of Chicago. He is preceded in death by parents, Nicada Yanez and Ernestina Trejo de Yanez. Aunt , Ofelia Montes. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years of marriage Maria del Socorro Yanez. Daughter, Slaudia Lvonne Rios Palomo (Jose Daniel Vaszuez Morgado).
