PEDRO FERNANDEZ SR. Pedro Fernandez Sr., 75, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Fernandez was born in Rodriguez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and had been long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Porfirio and Ernestina Fernandez. Brothers and sister, Andres Fernandez, Jorge Fernandez, Rogelio Rossel, Porfirio Fernandez Jr., Petra Margarita Fernandez. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Fernandez. Children, Pedro (Olga) Fernandez Jr., Maria Ernestina (David) Gomez, San Juanita Fernandez. Step-son, Carlos (Rosalinda) Sanchez Jr. 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren Brothers and Sisters, Ernesto Castro, Vicenta (Enrique) Mendoza, Leonor Fernandez, Juan Luis Fernandez, Jose Fernandez, and Raul Fernandez. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will immediately follow the service in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
