Obituary

PEDRO MALACARA
Pedro Malacara entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at the age of 74.
Mr. Malacara was an Insurance representative for over 40 years and retired at the age of 63. Mr. Malacara was a graduate of Martin High School, in 1964, and was also a graduate of LUTC I and LUTC II. Mr. Malacara was a 4th degree Knight of the Knights Of Columbus Council 12928. Mr. Malacara was a good kindhearted humble man who left many lasting memorable impressions. He was known for his humor which brought many smiles and laughter throughout his lifetime.  Pete will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The greatest attribute he possessed was his immense love for his family. He was an amazing father to his four children who will miss him dearly. He will continue to live on in their hearts and memories..."We Love You Dad".
He was born and raised in Laredo, Texas and was the son of the late Jacinto and Francisca Malacara Sr., husband to the late Juanita Aldape Malacara and brother to the late Octavio (Josefina Cobos) Malacara. Also preceding him in death is his sister, Maria De La Luz Malacara.
He is survived by his son, Pedro Gerardo (Maricela) Malacara.
Daughters, Veronica Amparo Malacara (Peter Navarro III dc'd), Monica Raquel (Manuel) Macias, Thelma Patricia (Ruben) Flores.
Grandchildren, Alejandro Gabriel (Cassandra) Navarro, Pedro (Gladys) Navarro IV, Marco Adan Flores, Leah Jade Flores and Jenesis Riquelle Rosas.
Great grandchildren, Aaden Carmelo Gaytan, Joel Moreno, Alejandro Gabriel II, Athan A. Navarro and Elaine Navarro.
Siblings, Candelaria (Jose dc'd) Lopez, Jacinto (Maria De La Luz) Malacara Jr., Jose Antonio (Ofelia) Malacara, Concepcion (Filiberto dc'd) Sierra, Josefina (Fidencio dc'd) Palacios and Maria Luisa Bejarano.
Niece, Maria Antonieta Malacara.
Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and dear friends.
The Family would like to offer a special "Thank You" to  Excellent Nursing Staff, to  all the family and friends that kept in constant communication with him and to Toña Rodriguez for her tremendous loving care and support of him, throughout the years.
In compliance with City Orders by the Mayor of the City of Laredo, a private visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
