PEDRO MUNOZ, SR. Mr. Pedro Munoz, Sr., 64, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Munoz was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Maria Munoz. His loving wife, Maria G. Munoz. Also by his sister, Juanita Munoz, brother, Ramon Munoz, and nephew, David Mendoza. He is survived by his 2 children, Pedro Munoz, Jr. and Esmeralda Munoz. 3 grandchildren, Leilani Amarie Arellano, Delilah Juliet Arellano, and Felipe V. Arellano. 2 sisters, Rosa (Oscar) Alvarado and Maria Yolanda Mendoza. Sister-in-law, Dolores Gutierrez. Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez & Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
