PEDRO VILLANUEVA JR. Pedro Villanueva Jr., 76, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 in Laredo,Texas. Mr. Villanueva was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of his life. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Del Rosario Villanueva. Grandson, Ricardo Jesus Lopez Jr. Grandchildren, Kiana Marie Lecea, Juan Gerardo Lecea and Jesus Reynaldo Lecea. He is survived by loving wife of 47 years of marriage, Guadalupe C. Villanueva. Children, Leonel (Margarita Alicia) Villanueva, Juanita (Gerardo) Lecea, Pedro (Vickie) Villanueva and Yvonne Villanueva and Jose Fernandez. 7 grandchildren, Kayla Marie Lecea, Kaylan Marie Lecea, Evan Alexander Villanueva, Gavin Knox Villanueva, Leonel Josue Cumpian, Jose Agustin Fernandez III and Yvanna Fernandez. Siblings, Concepcion Mendoza and Antonio Villanueva. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. A special heartfelt gratitude to the Nurses on Wheels for all the care and attention provided to Mr. Villanueva. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
