Peter Gutierrez, a Vietnam Veteran and police officer and resident of Laredo, TX died unexpectedly on April 7th, 2018 at the age of 67.

Peter is survived by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.  Peter served in the Alpha Company 4/3 11th Light Infantry Brigade for many years protecting our country.  He served as a police officer for the Chicago Police Department where he continued to serve and protect the public to prevent crime and maintain law and order.  He also was a U.S. Customs and   Border Patrol agent where he continued to protect and serve by securing our borders for the safety of our communities and the people.   Peter dedicated his life serving and protecting our country with bravery and dedication.

Peter enjoyed traveling, the outdoors and visiting his relatives. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
