PETRA G. GUARDADO Petra G. Guardado,86, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at a local hospital. Ms. Guardado was born in Odem, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcelo Guardado who passed away in 2004. Brother, Antonio Garza. Sisters, Luisa and Gabriel Carreon and Antonia (Jose) Salinas She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia (Jose Angel) Solis and Margarita (Roberto) Dominguez. Grandchildren, Rodolfo (Shelley) Aguilar Jr., Jose Angel Solis Jr., Ricardo (Erica) Solis, Marco (Yanira) Solis, Roberto (Norma) Dominguez, Diana (Luis) Briones and Mark Dominguez. 10 great-grandchildren. Sister-in-Law, Pilar Garza. Also surviving her nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A Chapel service will begin at 10:30 a.m. officiated by Pastor Isidro Hernandez from Iglesia Apostolica Missionera De La Fe En Cristo. Committal services and interment will immediately follow the service in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
