Obituary

PETRA PEÑA
Petra Peña, 88, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
Mrs. Peña was born in Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Felipe Peña.
Parents, Santos and Ines Flores.
Son, Juan Manuel Peña Flores.
Brothers, Guadalupe Flores and Celso Flores.
Sister, Piedad Flores.
She is preceded in death by her children, Maria S. (Armando) Gallardo, Ruben Peña, Felipe (San Juanita) Peña, Eulogio (Guadalupe) Peña, Maria C. Flores, Elisa Flores and Jose Alberto Flores.
25 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandson.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 4 p.m.  to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Peñuñuri ,will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS: Armando Gallardo, Mario Gallardo, Cristian Flores, Jose Flores, Alejandro Flores, Felix Lopez, Alfredo Ibarra, Diego Flores and Victor Peña.
