Rafael Moreno Jr.'s Obituary
RAFAEL MORENO JR.
Rafael Moreno Jr., 58, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at a local hospital.
Mr. Moreno was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rafael Moreno.
Nephew, David Rivera.
Paternal grandparents, Refugio and Rafaela Moreno.
Maternal grandparents, Jose C. Delgadillo and Ester Delgadillo.
He is survived by his mother, Maria Del Carmen Moreno.
Siblings, Sergio (Mary) Moreno, Maria del Carmen Rivera and Christina (Jesus) Corona.
Nieces and nephews, Ignacio Alberto Ramirez Jr., Maria del Rosario Moreno, Anna Isabel Moreno, Veronica Mata, Esteban Rivera, Amanda Rivera, Rebecca Rivera, Miguel Alejandro Corona, Nicole Corona and Sarah Jessica Corona.
Also surviving him are numerous uncles, aunts, other nephews and nieces and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
