RAMIRO GARZA LEAL Ramiro Garza Leal, 72, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. He was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. Owner of Retama Bicycle Shop since 1972 , the oldest continuously operating full service bike shop in Laredo. He followed his fathers foot steps of operating his own bike shop since the early 1940s. People who knew Mr. Leal knew how dedicated he was to his family and customers. He was a devoted husband to Zulema D. Leal for 47 years, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and business man. He is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Leal Jr. and Hortencia Leal. He is survived by his loving wife, Zulema D. Leal. Children, Ramiro (Robert) Leal Jr., Jose Alberto (Doreen) Leal, Humberto (Vanessa) Leal and Raul Alfonso ( Maria Elena) Leal. Grandchildren, Jhsoelle Leal, Gloria A. Leal, Jose Alberto Leal, Madeline Zumel Diaz Leal, Raul Alfonso Leal Jr., Isabel Elisa Leal and Ramiro Alejandro Leal. Brothers and Sisters, Hortencia L (Raul) Carrillo, Santiago (Rosalinda) Leal III. and Raul (Carmela) Leal. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
