RAMIRO PEREZ
Ramiro Perez, 88, passed away on September 2, 2021.
Mr. Perez was born and raised in Laredo, Texas.
He was a family oriented man, when he was younger he worked as a carpenter to provide for his family. He was a dedicated hardworking man. In his later years, he dedicated himself to taking care of his wife and his home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be missed dearly.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, of 67 years of marriage, Idolina Perez, who passed away in August 18, 2021.
Son, Rogelio "Roy" Perez.
Parents, Agapito Perez and Refugia Vicharelli.
Brothers, Jesus Perez and Reynaldo Perez.
Sister, Consuelo Garza.
He is survived by his children, Imelda (Luis) Vitela, Esmeralda (Francisco) Landeros, Ramiro (Rosalinda) Perez Jr., Hilda (Juan) Leyva, Amalia (Martin) Garcia, Armando (Esther) Perez, Maribel (Ruben) Vasquez and Linda (Raul) Vasquez.
45 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren.
Brothers, Salvador Perez and Amador Perez.
Also surviving are numerous other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to his caregiver, Ofelia Soriano and to the Staff and Caretakers of Nurses on Wheels.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a prayer service, officiated by Pastor Donald Roath, will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy.
A Religious Service will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jesus Cadena III, Javier Landeros, Justin Zamora, Brandy A. Birdow, Ana L. Vitela, Kenya Y. Lopez, Melissa Leyva and Efrain Mendez.
